About the Event

Experience a powerful evening with three exceptional speakers. Our keynote speaker, Benjamin Cremer, is renowned for his dynamic speaking and preaching, and his powerful quotes are shared all over social media. In addition to him, Kim Honeycutt, our Executive Director, will take the stage as our therapist for the night. Kim is a TEDx speaker and regularly speaks at Watershed and other events. And Katie Bannister, who will share her powerful story, is a TikTok star featured in the Hulu Documentary "Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper People."

But the excitement doesn't end there! Before the speakers grace the stage, join us for an immersive community hour at 6 p.m. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy free food, connect with others, gain insights from local organizations, and even meet Ben himself. Plus, Kaiti will host a fun and friendly sauce-tasting competition. We'll then dive into the main event at 7 p.m. Don't miss out—secure your free tickets by RSVPing today.

About Ben Cremer:

"I have spent the majority of my life in Evangelical Christian spaces and have experienced a lot of church hurt. I now write to explore topics that often intersect politics and Christianity. My desire is to discover how we can move away from Christian nationalism, religious fundamentalism, and church hurt to reclaim the Gospel of Jesus together."

Benjamin Cremer: a Pastor. Wesleyan. Writer. BA in Religion. MA in Spiritual Formation. MA in Theological Studies. Chronic student. Idahoan.

About Katie Bannister:

"In 2020, I launched a YouTube channel and blog called "Story Behind the Sauce," focusing on hot sauces and their creators. As both platforms gained traction, I started receiving sauces from small-batch companies worldwide. This led me to expand my reviews to include spicy snacks, challenge items, and pepper pods. Thanks to my pepper grower friends, my tiktok page KTBSaucy skyrocketed in followers!

My passion for the spice community grew alongside my channel, prompting me to collaborate with small batch sauce makers in March 2022 to establish KTBs Capsaicin Cave."

The  Capsaicin Cave is located online at KTBSaucy.com and in the Coastal  Carolina Flea Market in Ladson SC. The store (affectionately referred to  as 'The Cap Cave') has a main focus, and that is to continue helping  small batch, small growers get their name and products out to the world!
