About the Event

We're thrilled that the one and only NakedPastor (David Hayward) is traveling from Canada to be on our icuTalks stage! David is a former pastor turned cartoonist. Who left the church after 30 years to pursue his passion for art. His art has been a point of healing for many, especially those marginalized.

"Art that starts honest conversations about life, healing and spirituality." -NakedPastor

You would think that having the highly accomplished David Hayward as our keynote speaker is cool enough, but there is more! We'll also hear from our 10-speaker Audra Moses, and the Psychotherapist POV will be provided by Kim Honeycutt (duh, right).

You will have the opportunity to buy David's new book Flip It Like This (bring $20 cash) and two of his famous art prints ($10 each) during the community hour starting at 6p.

Community hour is a fun time to partake in food, desserts, coffee/tea, and these five fantastic community resources: HopeWay, Ashley Black Counseling Services, Blanchard Institue, Charlotte Clubhouse, and Uncommon.

After all this fabulousness, including our speakers, David will be available to autograph his book and art prints for you!

Come hang out starting at 6 o'clock on April 22nd at our new home Watershed Church to get connected!

Click on the RSVP button to reserve your free ticket!

David's Bio:

David Hayward was ordained to the ministry in 1987 and left in 2010. He's been running the NakedPastor blog since 2005, where he posts his provocative cartoons and articles.
